OK...I'm dying to know how everyone did and it's not on-line yet!!! Post your results here. Hope everyone had a fabulous time. The rain can't hold us back. I did the half as a 'mile repeat' for my 12 since I did Big Sur last week. Wet but fun...1:57.

Kelli and I ran 5:27 for our first marathon! We had a great time and were so happy to run with Charlie for a mile (around 9 or 10) and get big hugs from Su at mile 21! Thanks to everyone for all the support and encouragement! I'm already planning my next run!

As many of you know, I took the lead from a few of you who last October ran 2 marathons in one weekend (as well as some friends who did the Goofy Challenge in January).

I was in Champaign, IL, (I graduated from University of Illinois) on Saturday and finished in a time of 5:46 using 1:1s. I had planned for a 5:45 to conserve enough for Sunday at the Pig.

I finished the Pig in 5:33 on Sunday using 2:1s, which was 3 minutes off what I thought I might be able to do (5:30).

I tip my hat to Jeff Galloway for the run-walk method of half-and full marathoning, as there are many fantastic results being posted here from our first-timers to veterans. Keeps me motivated to continue on.

Well done, people!

PS - I do have sore legs today though Smile
