For my 45th birthday, I am going to again attempt to get the ever elusive (to me) 4:20 time, assuming the weather cooperates!

The US Air Force Marathon is being held on September 18, which is the first time in recent years that it actually falls on my birthday.

This marathon has special meaning to me because it was the first time I ever completed the 26.2 mile distance. I was 39 on that day, the last time I would see my 30s as it fell on September 17 in 2005.

I have a long summer ahead of speedwork and general fitness improvements, but if anyone is interested, let me know.

Folks,

I now have an extra registration available to the marathon. You would be entered as "Bill Meyer" but I am able to pick up the race packet as I have been authorized as someone who can get this on Bill's behalf.

If you want a full marathon entry to the USAF Marathon, please send me a PM.

It would cost you $75.50
