Greetings runners,

I wanted to post this today so that you have time to prepare. Next Saturday (August 7) is the Lady Distance Classic. It unfortunately falls on a long run Saturday. In order to support Susan and Jeremy at Fleet Feet who have been so very good to us throughout all the years they have been in business, we are moving the long run to Sunday. Lady Distance Classic is the only race that Cincinnati Fleet Feet owns exclusively and they asked us to support them as they support us. Mark your calendars and sign up if you are interested at Fleet Feet in Blue Ash or online @ www.ladydistanceclassic.com.

We hope all the ladies will be able to enjoy the 5k or 10k this year either walking or running.

They NEED VOLUNTEERS as well so gentlemen or even ladies who would rather save their legs for the long run, please contact Fleet Feet to offer your services.

This is the only time in the entire year I will ask you to do this. We need our running stores and Fleet Feet has been there for us since the day they opened the doors, setting up courses, setting out water, driving around and checking on us and picking up runners that are struggling. We do not have this support from any other organization at this time.

Details regarding the run will be posted early next week.

Does this mean the long run scheduled for next Saturday will be made up later?

It will be on Sunday August 8th.
